Look. This little finger covers the eye and prevents the whole world from being seen. In the same way this small mind covers the whole universe and prevents Reality from being seen.

Knowing yourself is to be rooted in Being, instead of lost in your mind.

letgoness:

No need to climb mountains or sit in caves. There is no call to do any of that. Just be. And don’t go around trying to ‘be yourself’, you don’t even know what that might be, other than something you made up.  You are neither the “outer” world of perceivables, nor the “inner” world of thinkables. Just be.

If I am incapable of washing dishes joyfully, if I want to finish them quickly so I can go and have dessert or a cup of tea, I will be equally incapable of enjoying my dessert or my tea when I finally have them.

Watch yourself. For you never know which sentence you said, which look you gave, will sting someone’s heart all night long.

All love is unconditional; it is absolutely impossible to attach conditions to love. You can try, but love will be regardless; how many times have you tried to apply conditions to love, and how many times has love failed to live within those conditions? Conditions can only be applied to a relationship, to the bond between two people; you can say that this bond can only exist so long as there is trust, so long as this or that does or does not happen. But love doesn’t exist within the parameters of these conditions; it exists regardless of these conditions.
